Starting 2026 Together: January NACRJ Circle Gatherings

Dear NACRJ Community,

As we welcome a new year, we’re holding close the practices that ground us: reflection, gratitude, and the power of gathering in community. Over the past year, we’ve worked to create spaces that honor stories, connection, and shared learning, made possible by the care and presence of this community. Thank you for walking with us and helping sustain a network rooted in restorative values.

As we step into 2026, we’re carrying forward an intention to create more opportunities for connection through circle gatherings. These spaces remind us of what becomes possible when we pause together, speak and listen from the heart, and witness one another with dignity and presence.

In January, we will kick off our first NACRJ Member Circle of the year on January 13, 2026, a month-to-month offering for NACRJ members. This month's space is designed for our members to connect, reflect, and share their intentions for the year ahead.

To our current members, thank you. Your presence, commitment, and generosity sustain this network. We are deeply grateful for the energy, wisdom, and heart you bring into our shared community.

If you are unsure whether your membership is current, please email membership@nacrj.org and we’ll be happy to assist you. Now is a great time to renew your membership. All NACRJ memberships run for twelve months from the date you join or renew.

We will also gather on January 20, 2026, for a National Day of Racial Healing Circle. This circle will feature opening comments by members of NACRJ’s DEIJ Committee, as well as Jodie Geddes, NACRJ Board Member and co-author of The Little Book of Racial Healing. As with our other online circles, the majority of our time together will be spent in small group circles focused on connection among attendees. All those in attendance will be entered into a drawing to win one of five copies of Jodie’s book as a door prize.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to creating spaces where connection and relationships can grow. We’re grateful to move into this new year alongside you, carrying forward our shared hopes and intentions.

Wishing you a grounded and restorative start to the new year.
